Major's low voltage-high voltage centers should be protected against fire attacks. This mirror test shows the difference in the sequence of a protected and an unprotected installation. A cable fire taking hold exhibits a surprising proliferation rate. Mainly vertically but also horizontally. In spaces where the so-called tunneling effect on air flow occurs, it is particularly difficult for rescuers to get the fire under control.

Flame source Gasoline soaked cloth (1kg). Half the ladder untreated the other half treated with Flamastic COATING™ (paint thickness 1.5 mm).

The unprotected cables are completely burned out after 15 minutes.
